Community Involvement

At Lepage Bakeries we pledge to:

• Donate our human and material resources to meet the needs and to serve the programs that reflect the best interests of our employees and their communities.
• Allocate our charitable contributions in relation to changing economic conditions.
• Contribute our bakery products, not for resale, only to qualified food banks, food pantries, and soup kitchens.

No corporation can fulfill requests for assistance from every worthy organization and cause. Therefore, we intend to pursue a policy of response according to the merits of each request and its ability to conform to our stated guidelines.

Because Lepage Bakeries is headquartered in Central Maine, the company sponsors grants to organizations that are located in or serve the Central Maine area. Entities applying for grants must be certified by the Internal Revenue Service as not-for-profit 501(c)3 organizations.
